About Evelyn Forrest
My first real estate purchase was a duplex, which I owned for a year. After I sold it, I doubled my cash-on-cash. My next transaction was a six-plex that I held until the management of it became too cumbersome.
After selling that, I invested with others in Single Family Residences (SFR) and bought a bigger home for our family while concentrating on my finance career. I also created a business note for a small shop, which then ran while unemployed. This turned out to be fortuitous when my son met his future wife in our shop. Eventually I sold that business when I returned to a position in finance.
Today I am CFO for a nonprofit organization and own three SFR rental properties.
I’ve also returned to the note business with Three Oaks Alliance, which is named in honor of my three grandchildren. This note business is the ultimate way for me to do real estate.
